Filmed over 7 years, 'Second Wind' portrays the family and friends of 4 generations of women who try something new at moments of transition in their lives. Fran ( MBE June Brown) plays the matriarch, Rosemary (Jaquetta May) is her daughter, Jill (Tamzin Outhwaite) is her grand-daughter, Anna (Tamzin Merchant) is her great grand- daughter, and Cynthia (Dame Harriet Walter) is her friend.
